Dr. A answered questions on the COVID mRNA vaccine for those with allergies on CBC on December 15 and December 17. As per Health Canada, of those eligible to get this vaccine, only those who have anaphylaxis to a prior dose of the vaccine or allergies to any of the ingredients in the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID 19 vaccine should not receive it.
